Hey what’s good? I’m new to the forum. I’m an electric violinist (among other things) outta Philly, workin in hip hop, jazz, rock, funk…just about everything. A few weeks ago I decided to challenge myself with a new project. I took a capellas of 5 Talib tracks and one from Blackstar’s “Definition” and wrote entirely new compositions built around them. I played every instrument and engineered it entirely. NO SAMPLES. Made start to finish in 36 hours, the result is “REDEFINITION.” I figured if there’s a spot to post this up, it’s here. Let me know what you cats think!

FYI if it sounds like some kinda synthesizer or distorted electric guitar..it’s not. It’s the violin.
