I need to think of a full list, but I would def. put Method Man and Black Thought down. I don't really watch the music networks that much anymore but in all the time that I have been watching them I've seen very little coverage.

I have a few friends that are 'into hiphop' that haven't even heard of them also.

Cuz he spits hot fire. Actually because he's bringing knowledge on mulriple levels with his work but a lot of people tend to not totally grasp the depth of what he's saying. Any time you can go over people's heads and still make sense you win in my book. But it also results in major sleeping by the masses, no matter how hard you grind. He goes out on his own w/ no promo and no street team. Just Frankie and the product. People know him personally and can relate his work directly back to him because they see him on the reg, and for me that relationship w/ his audience and fanbase is a big part of what makes a great artist, not just emcees.

Aaaaand I also wanna say that I agree with lots of y'all. I see Mos mentioned and Black Thought and those are two of my personal faves. They both get looked at halfway and people say they're hot, but when you listen for real for real you hear all sorts of dope ish. Amazing artists they are.
