I saw this kat perform before David Banner and Kweli in Athens, GA in Fall 2008 (I think), and have been checking him here and there ever since. I got the "Hi, My Name Is Bob" mixtape from around that time. He has a different, and sometimes familiar, sound and comes off best when he does go different, in my opinion. He's been up on the music for a while, and he's definitely talented. But one thing I have noticed is he can get very repetitive lyrically from song to song, which I hate to see so early in his exposure.

Did you happen to catch his free live webcast concert? It was sometime last week. The 18th, I believe.

No, I didn't see that but I'm gonna see him in about a week cause I'm going to a Lupe Fiasco concert and BoB is opening up for him. Yeah he is definitely different, kinda sounds like Andre 3000 and a skinny Ceelo to me. I like him best when he is singing for most of the song and has one verse where he raps, his range and many talents is what makes him unique to me.
