Event: Southeast Black Midwives & Healers Conference

When: October 14th-16th

A gathering of midwives, doulas and healers who want to build community leadership to reduce maternal and infant mortality. Attend a two and a half day plenary summit, that covers legislative round tables, midwives, and doulas approach to conception, birth and postpartum health, increase the number of midwives and doulas in the southeast region and participate in the unveiling of the ICTC new national agenda, and more. This is an action, solution and power building event.

Black babies are dying. Be a leader. Attend the summit.

Erykah Badu, the ICTC National spokeswoman will be in attendance at this years event, Erkyah recently expressed her desire to become a midwife in that latest People magazine issue released September 12; the article is featured on page 119.
