First in Tunisia and now in cities all across Egypt (the Middle East’s most populated country) and other countries in the region, the people are uprising in protest of their governments. In response to the protests in Egypt, the Mubarak-led government has shutdown all internet and mobile access and there are reports that many journalists are being rounded up and arrested by the dozens. Therefore, the people are relying on others around the world to spread the word. What would we do if our access to the world was taken from us without warning? We have the ability to listen, learn, and speak up.

We are doing our best to stay informed of what is going on, so as we learn more we will share it with you. Stay tuned.

Right now I am following Al Jazeera online and on twitter @AJELive. So far their coverage has been the most comprehensive in my view.

Peace…

Damn, Talib still sdunos good. I agree, he tends to live and die by the strength of his production, and this sort of ominous, piano-laced beat gives me those familiar Get By tinglies. Excellent work here as always, I’ll look forward to new Talib material on the horizon.
