Now, allow me to introduce you to Roc Marciano‘s personal creepshow track called Poltergeist.

the track does not overpower him (something that many producers or should I say “beatmakers” seem to fail at). This one matches up with Roc perfectly. And well done on the artwork. I want to find out who the artist is and update this post for you when I get the person’s name.

I wondered about some of the moments where it seems like he is freestyling or doing free word association. I am curious if that’s what it was in those moments of the song or if it was all penned. Overall, when the song plays, I am not sure whether I want to light a cigar and sip cognac from a snifter, or if I wanna check the basement for ghosts.

Is it possible to do both?

“Poltergeist” is eerie but Marci shines on it with the same misogynistic wit and garish gunplay talk that keeps me laughing heartily at so many of his bars thus far. So dive in (via Jazz UN Gang‘s soundcloud).
